Pumpkin-Stuffed Pork With Curry Sauce

Forget traditional soups and stews. This is what fall is ordering for dinner.


  • 4 slices thinly-sliced pork
  • Flour
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Parsley, chopped
  • 300 grams pumpkin
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder


  1. Peel the pumpkin and microwave until soft. Add in mayonnaise, salt and pepper and mash with a fork.
  2. Sprinkle flour on top of the pork slices. Divide pumpkin mixture in two and place on top of pork slice. Top with the other slice of pork.
  3. Heat some oil in a frying pan. Cook the pork on both sides. Add in soy sauce, sake and curry powder and swirl it around in the pan to make a sauce.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
