Cook Like a Mother with Ragu® Sauce

Ingredients
Pasta Chips
- Kosher salt, to taste
- 8 oz dry lasagna noodles (~10 sheets)
- Cooking oil spray
- ⅓ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Vegetarian Lasagna Nachos
- ¼ cup cup ricotta
- ½ cup pesto (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups RAGÚ® Chunky Sauce Tomato, Garlic, & Onion, warmed
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup parmesan
- ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Steps
Pasta Chips
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and spray 2 baking sheets with nonstick spray.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions for al dente.
- Meanwhile, add the parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, and pepper to a small bowl and stir well to combine.
- Once the noodles are cooked, drain and transfer them to a cutting board. Cut noodles into triangle shapes - about 8 triangles per noodle - and place in a large bowl.
- Add olive oil and the parmesan mixture to the pasta and toss well to coat. Arrange on 2-3 baking sheets, making sure the noodles aren’t touching. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until crisp and golden.
Vegetarian Lasagna Nachos
- While the pasta chips are baking make the ricotta pesto. Add the ricotta and pesto to the base of a food processor and pulse until smooth and combined. Pour into a resealable bag.
- Layer the slightly cooled chips with mozzarella, parmesan, RAGÚ® Chunky Sauce Tomato, Garlic, & Onion, fresh basil and parsley. Bake again until cheese is melted and bubbling, about 10 minutes.
- Top with ricotta pesto and serve immediately.
Ingredients
- 1 tube crescent roll dough
- 2 sticks white string cheese, 2 sticks cut into 4 even pieces
- 1 Bottle of RAGÚ Simply® Traditional Sauce
- 32 Slices of Pepperoni
- Italian herbs, to taste
Steps
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a muffin tin with non-stick spray.
- Open crescent dough and lay each triangle over an open muffin tin space. Add one teaspoon of RAGÚ Simply® to each triangle.
- Add two pieces of pepperoni, then one piece of cheese, followed by 2 more pieces to cover it. Wrap each triangle over and fold into a ball. Sprinkle with herbs.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with an additional side of warm RAGÚ Simply® sauce. Enjoy while still warm and gooey.

Italian Grilled Cheese
- Mayonnaise or butter, to taste
- Provolone, 2-4 slices per sandwich
- Mozzarella, 2-4 slices per sandwich
- Italian inspired protein of choice, such as crumbled sausage, prosciutto, pancetta (or bacon), salami or porchetta
- Italian inspired veggie of choice, such as caramelized onions, arugula, broccoli rabe, spinach, hot cherry peppers
- Condiments of choice, such as Hot Honey, Pesto, Olive Tapenade, Garlic Aioli, Fig Jam
- 1 bottle RAGÚ® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce
Quick Tomato Soup
- 2 (14-ounce) cans chicken broth
- 1 (28-ounce) jar RAGÚ® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh basil (packed)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Steps
Italian Grilled Cheese
- Spread mayonnaise or butter on one side of each slice of bread
- Heat a small skillet over medium and place one slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Top with filling ingredients and then the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side up.
- When the underside is golden brown, turn the sandwich and press down. Cook until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve with RAGÚ® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce or soup to dip!
Quick Tomato Soup
- Add all ingredients, except the heavy cream, to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour mixture into medium pot and simmer until heated throughout.
- Stir in heavy cream.
- Serve immediately alongside an Italian grilled cheese!
