Ramen Rice

Craving something simple yet flavorful? This easy rice bowl made with crushed instant ramen, seasoning and green onions will hit the spot.


  • 1 package instant ramen
  • 3/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 200cc water
  • 1 egg
  • 10 milliliters sesame oil
  • Chopped green onions
  • Ground sesame seeds


  1. Wash rice thoroughly and let it sit in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Crush instant ramen in a bag. Transfer crushed ramen into a saucepan along with washed rice, water and instant ramen soup. Mix to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Turn off the heat and let it sit for another 10 minutes covered.
  4. Add sesame seeds and mix to combined.
  5. Serve with chopped green onions and a raw egg yolk if desired.
