Heat water in a kettle. For each cup of water steep 2 tea bags. Let the mixture cool completely in the fridge, 45 minutes.
In a medium sauce pan, heat the sugar and water until mixture comes to a boil and the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl. Place in the fridge to cool quickly and completely.
To assemble, use a large jar with a leak proof lid and fill with ice, 2 tablespoons of simple syrup, 1/2 cup of the tea mixture and 1/2 a cup of lemonade, screw on the lid and shake. Pour into a glass of your choosing.
