- I'm about to take my glass of rose and turn it into some fancy ass gummy bears. Watch me show you how to make it. All right, so the first thing that I want to do is get my rose over the heat. So I have a small sauce pan. And I have some nice sparkling rose. All right, so that just goes into the pan with my agar flakes. A seaweed gelatin. It acts just like regular gelatin, but doesn't have as strong of a smell. And you just whisk it and keep the heat on low. And we're just gonna cook this until the seaweed dissolves. And actually it's gonna end up cooking out all the alcohol, so these are technically okay for children. Yeah. And because rose tends to not be so sweet, and these are gonna be a candy, I'm gonna add in a little bit of agave to sweeten it up. You can add whatever sweetener you like. You can add granulated sugar. I've seen people add champagne syrup. And that, you know, just celebrates the theme of this very extravagant gummy bear. I feel like these would be perfect for a baby shower, or something like that, or a bachelorette party. Or a bachelor party, why not? I like to check to see if all of my flakes have dissolved by just tipping the pan. And if there are bits of the seaweed gelatin stuck to the bottom, obviously it hasn't dissolved all the way, so just keep cooking it. So my liquid had thickened a little bit and when I tip my saucepan, I see nothing on the bottom. No flakes still stuck there, so I know that it's ready, I can turn off my heat. And then I'm just gonna pour it into a little glass, a container, so that it can cool just a little bit before I start piping it into my gummy bear mold. Awesome. Okay, and I have here just a little gummy bear tray. You can buy this on Amazon for super cheap, and I've sprayed it with some coconut oil, so that these gummy bears will just pop right out when it's time to eat them, because there are so many crevices in here, it can really get stuck easily. Do you definitely want to make sure that you oil it. And then I have a little eye dropper, and this just makes portioning them out really easy. I'm just gonna keep filling these gummy bear molds with my liquid. Beautiful. You also want to be doing this on a sheet tray, so that your mold's not flappin' all around. That's important. All right, so my gummy bear mold is filled, and I'm gonna get it into the refrigerator so that they can set up. Okay, so my rose gummy bears have just come out of the refrigerator. And they are perfectly solid so that I can pop 'em right out. They're really cute little gummy bear men. All right, so I can just get these guys out of here and onto a tray. I love their color, so pretty. All right, so I have some edible glitter that I'm gonna roll these gummy bears in because I kind of want you to know that it's coming from a sparkly wine, that they're not just regular gummy bears. These are fancy. Extra fancy gummy bears. So I'm taking them and I'm just tossing them into the glitter, and they're pretty resilient little gummy men, so you don't have to be that gentle with them. The glitter sticks really well to it, because we sprayed that coconut oil in the mold. You can skip this step if you want to, too, it's not necessary, but I think it makes the presentation even better. And there you go, the cutest little gummy bear men, and they're made out of rose. You wouldn't expect it, and they're the perfect special treat for whatever party you're throwing. You're really gonna love this. And I love it, too.
