Savor this twist on a delightful muffin by smothering it with cream cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 x eggs
- 200 milliliters sunflower oil
- 100 grams full cream yoghurt
- Salt
- 300 grams plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate
- 200 grams smoked salmon
- Dill
- Philadelphia cream cheese
Steps
- Line a muffin tray with baking paper.
- Beat the eggs well and mix in the sunflower oil.
- Add yoghurt and salt and mix well.
- Then add flour, yeast and bicarbonate and mix again.
- Cut the smoked salmon into small pieces and add it to the mixture with some fresh dill (as much/little as you like)
- Mix well then scoop portions of the mixture into the individual muffin forms.
- Cook in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.
- Serve with a dollop of Philadelphia cream cheese while they are still warm.
