Ingredients
- 3.5 ounces smoked bacon
- Flour, as needed
- 1 plain pie crust package
- 2 spoonfuls mild mustard
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 egg
Steps
- Cook the bacon, place on paper towels to drain and cool, then dice into pieces.
- Sprinkle some flour over a work surface and place the pie crust on top.
- Spread mustard on top of crust, then cut into 6 equal pieces. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and crunchy bacon over the top.
- One by one, roll up the pieces and curve them into a U shape to form the croissants. Place them on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
- Brush the croissants with egg wash, and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, until brown.

- 1 puff pastry pie crust package
- 2 tablespoons mild mustard
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 red onion, minced
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- 3.5 ounces shredded cheese
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the onions with the mustard, salt, pepper and oregano.
- Place the onion mixture on one of the pie crusts and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Cover with the other pie crust, press lightly, cut into thin ribbons and twist.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 7 ounces Sardo (hard) cheese, grated
- 3/4 cup butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons mild mustard
- 1 egg
- Black and white sesame seeds, as needed
Steps
- In a big bowl, add the flour, cheese, butter and mustard. Mix the ingredients together, but don't knead the dough.
- Transfer dough to a sheet of baking paper and cover with another sheet of paper. Use a rolling pin to flatten dough to 1/4 inch thick. Place in refrigerator to rest for 20 minutes.
- Cut the dough into desired shapes and place them on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool before enjoying.

- 4 cups cassava (yuca) flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons mild mustard
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 10.5 ounces Mar del Plata cheese, grated
- Water
Steps
- Place flour in a bowl, leaving a hole at the center. Add the eggs, mustard and salt and mix with a fork.
- Add the butter and mix together with your hands.
- Add the grated cheese and about 4 spoonfuls of water. Knead the dough until you get an even consistency.
- Divide into little rolls and place them on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until they are well done.
