Seafood Bowl

Move over seafood tower! This bowl is bursting with sea urchin, salmon roe, a geoduck and so much more!


  • 1 mirugai clam (geoduck)
  • 1 cup rice, cooked
  • Toppings:
  • Beefsteak plant leaves (perilla)
  • Daikon, thinly sliced daikon
  • Wasabi
  • Soy sauce
  • Trough-shell
  • Blood clam
  • Salted salmon roe
  • Sea urchin
  • Japanese egg cockle
  • Japanese scallop


  1. Insert a spoon between the shell and the flesh of the geoduck, and remove the shell.
  2. Place the flesh in boiling water until it becomes white, then remove and place in cold water.
  3. Remove organs and any other inedible parts, then strip off the skin. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a bowl, add a mound of rice, then add desired toppings along with geoduck.
