Spaghetti Squash Gratin

A meaty, cheesy, onion-y mix baked right in the squash — now that's just smart cooking.


  • 1/2 spaghetti squash
  • Olive oil
  • 100 grams ground beef
  • 1/2 canned tomato
  • 50 grams onion
  • 1 tablespoon powdered bouillon
  • 50 grams shredded cheese
  • Pepper


  1. Cut spaghetti squash in half.
  2. Boil the squash in a pot of water until tender.
  3. Scrape the flesh out with a fork and set aside.
  4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and saute the ground beef and onions until done.
  5. Add in the spaghetti squash flesh, canned tomato and bouillon and saute for a couple of minutes.
  6. Pour the mixture into the spaghetti squash and top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees C.
