Strawberry Bonbon Ice Cream

Think of this as rich and fruity strawberry ice cream sandwiched between two incredible chocolate discs.


  • 14 ounces strawberries, chopped
  • 1 (14 ounces) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 17 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped


  1. In a blender, mix the strawberries, condensed milk and cream. Set aside.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  3. Cover the bottoms of bonbon molds with a layer of melted chocolate, and place in freezer for 1 hour.
  4. Spoon a layer of strawberry cream over the chocolate, and return to the freezer for 4 hours.
  5. Cover with another layer of melted chocolate. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
