Strawberry-Filled Melon Bread

These sweet buns are covered in cookie dough and stuffed with strawberries and cream.


  • 4 dinner rolls
  • Sugar
  • 100 milliliters whipped cream
  • 5 strawberries
  • Cookie dough:
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup
  • 20 grams sugar
  • 100 grams flour


  1. In a bowl, combine unsalted butter, strawberry syrup and sugar and mix with a hand mixer until smooth.
  2. Add in flour and mix with a spatula. Divide into four portions and flatten into a disc. Coat with sugar.
  3. Place on top of rolls and cut into it making a crisscross pattern with a knife.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes at 190 degrees C.
  5. Once they have cooled, cut in half and fill with whipped cream and strawberries.
