Traditional stroopwafels are the perfect vessel for other incredible flavors like ice cream, Nutella, and coconut!
Ingredients
- Stroopwafels
- Caramel filling
- Unsweetened coconut flakes
- White chocolate
Steps
- Spread 2 teaspoons caramel filling onto a stroopwafel and sprinkle coconut flakes on top.
- Place another stroopwafel on top.
- Drizzle with white chocolate and enjoy!

- Place a large scoop of ice cream onto the center of one wafel and top with a second wafel.
- Press down to flatten the ice cream. Enjoy!

- Nutella
- Dark chocolate, melted
- Mini chocolate chips
Steps
- Spread 1 teaspoon of caramel filling onto a wafel and spread 1 teaspoon Nutella on top.
- Place another wafel on top.
- Dip half of the wafel into melted dark chocolate and sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
- Chill in the fridge until the chocolate has set, and enjoy!

- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 3 tablespoons golden syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

- Place the brown sugar, margarine, golden syrup and cinnamon into a pot and set to medium-high heat.
- Bring to a boil and heat until it reaches 234F-240F. Remove from the heat and use immediately.
- To assemble, sandwich 1-2 teaspoons of filling between two wafels. Enjoy!

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
Steps
- Combine the flour, sugar, flax seeds, baking soda and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the margarine, water and vanilla, then add to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough is formed.
- Heat a pizelle or waffle cone maker and grease each side with cooking spray.
- Roll about 1 tablespoon of dough into a ball and place in the center of the waffle cone maker.
- Close the lid, latching it closed, if possible - this will keep them as flat as possible.
- Cook for 1 minute, or until golden brown. Gently remove them from the waffle cone maker and transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
