- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- 3 dashes bitters
- Splash club soda
- 2 ounces bourbon
- Orange peel, for garnish
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish
- Pour sugar in an old fashioned glass. Drop in bitters, add splash of soda
- Crush sugar mix with muddler. Add a large ice cube. Pour bourbon over.
- Stir with a bar spoon to desired dilution, about 30 seconds.
- Garnish with orange peel and cherry.
