Chocolate Tahini Butter Cups

Rich, chocolatey tahini butter cups covered in sprinkles just might be the new peanut butter cups.


  • 3/4 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate
  • Sprinkles, for topping


  1. Combine tahini, powdered sugar, salt, cinnamon and vanilla, and set aside. Line 12 muffin tins with paper liners.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a double-boiler or microwave until smooth, then spoon about 1 teaspoon chocolate into the bottom of the liners. Stick in the freezer for a couple minutes to firm up slightly.
  3. Place a dollop of filling in each muffin liner, then top with the remaining melted chocolate so that it covers the filling completely. Top with sprinkles and let harden in the freezer. Enjoy!
