Thai Chicken Over Rice

How to make Thai Chicken over rice.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ground chicken
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1/4 red bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 5 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoonn fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoonn oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoonn soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoonn sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Steps

  1. Cut onion and peppers into small bite-sized pieces. Mince garlic and ginger.
  2. Stir-fry garlic and ginger with some oil in a frying pan over low heat.
  3. Once the oil is fragrant, add the ground chicken and stir-fry until fully cooked.
  4. Add the onions and peppers along with the fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce and sugar. Continue to cook until onions are just translucent.
  5. Tear the basil leaves into the stir-fry mixture.
  6. In a separate frying pan, add a tablespoon of oil and fry the egg.
  7. Put a scoop of rice onto a plate along with the stir-fried chicken.
  8. Top with your fried egg and enjoy while it's hot.
