Ingredients
- 1 egg white (pasteurized)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 ounces Cognac
- 3/4 ounce Grand Marnier
- Dash of simple syrup (optional)
- Splash of club soda
Steps
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the lemon juice and egg white. Shake it 20 to 30 times, until you can see the egg whites starting to froth.
- Next add cognac, Grand Marnier, simple syrup if using and ice to the cocktail shaker. Shake 20 more times, then strain into your glass of choice.
- Garnish with soda water. Add a curled orange peel if desired, and enjoy!

- 1 ounce amaro
- 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 ounce rosemary simple syrup
- 4 ounces dry white wine
- 1 ounce club soda
- Dash orange bitters
Rosemary Simple Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup rosemary leaves
Garnish
- Orange wedge
- Rosemary sprig
Steps
The Brooklyn Spritz
- Prepare your rosemary simple syrup: Combine water, sugar and rosemary leaves in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Stir continuously until sugar dissolves, then simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain to remove rosemary leaves and let cool. Save what you don’t use in a glass jar or bottle for up to 1 month in the refrigerator.
- Fill a goblet two-thirds full with ice. In a shaker, add St. Agrestis Amaro, orange juice, rosemary simple syrup and ice and shake.
- Pour white wine over ice, then strain in shaker ingredients.
- Top with club soda and a dash of Regan's orange bitters. Garnish with an orange wedge and rosemary sprig.
