Introducing your go-to cocktail order: The Brooklyn Spritz. Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white (pasteurized)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces Cognac
  • 3/4 ounce Grand Marnier
  • Dash of simple syrup (optional)
  • Splash of club soda

Steps

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the lemon juice and egg white. Shake it 20 to 30 times, until you can see the egg whites starting to froth.
  2. Next add cognac, Grand Marnier, simple syrup if using and ice to the cocktail shaker. Shake 20 more times, then strain into your glass of choice.
  3. Garnish with soda water. Add a curled orange peel if desired, and enjoy!

Ingredients

The Brooklyn Spritz

  • 1 ounce amaro
  • 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 ounce rosemary simple syrup
  • 4 ounces dry white wine
  • 1 ounce club soda
  • Dash orange bitters

Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup rosemary leaves

Garnish

  • Orange wedge
  • Rosemary sprig

Steps

The Brooklyn Spritz

  1. Prepare your rosemary simple syrup: Combine water, sugar and rosemary leaves in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir continuously until sugar dissolves, then simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain to remove rosemary leaves and let cool. Save what you don’t use in a glass jar or bottle for up to 1 month in the refrigerator.
  4. Fill a goblet two-thirds full with ice. In a shaker, add St. Agrestis Amaro, orange juice, rosemary simple syrup and ice and shake.
  5. Pour white wine over ice, then strain in shaker ingredients.
  6. Top with club soda and a dash of Regan's orange bitters. Garnish with an orange wedge and rosemary sprig.
