The Perfect Fried Egg

Get that runny egg yolk and perfectly cooked white every time with this simple method.


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • Splash of water


  1. Heat a frying pan over medium-low heat and add olive oil. Heat oil until it's smooth and swirling around the pan.
  2. Crack an egg into the pan. Pour a splash of water into the corner of the pan. Cover, and cook for 1-2 minutes, until white is cooked through but yolk is still runny in the middle.
  3. Transfer to a plate and enjoy!
