Ingredients
Cheesecake Batter
- 2/3 cup cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup cream
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 vanilla bean
Cheese Custard
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup milk
Caramel
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
Steps
Cheesecake Batter
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cheesecake batter ingredients.
Cheese Custard
- In another mixing bowl, combine all cheese custard ingredients and mix well. Transfer to a saucepan and heat over medium, while stirring, until the custard forms.
- Pour the cheesecake batter and the cheese custard into a springform pan and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Caramel
- In a saucepan, add the sugar and water and cook until dark brown, then turn off the heat.
- Drizzle the baked cheesecake with caramel.
