4 Ways to Stuff a Chocolate Bar in Stuff

From a s'mores tart and puffed pastries, to stuffed French toast and cookies, chocolate bars have endless potential!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of graham crackers, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 3/4 chocolate bars
  • Marshmallows

Steps

  1. Combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter.
  2. Press into the bottom of a tart pan.
  3. Lay whole chocolate bars into the tart pan.
  4. Bake for 7 minutes at 375°F.
  5. Arrange marshmallows on top.
  6. Broil until marshmallows have puffed and browned.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Splash of vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Large slices of brioche
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 chocolate bar
  • Powdered sugar

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Soak slices of bread in egg mix.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Lay down a slice of bread, add half a bar of chocolate, cover with another slice of bread.
  3. Fry sandwiches until both sides are golden brown.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • Sliced strawberries
  • 1 chocolate bar
  • Egg wash
  • Sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar

Steps

  1. Lay chocolate bar and sliced strawberries onto center third of puff pastry.
  2. Cut angled slits into the puff pastry to the left and right of the chocolate bar.
  3. Fold the top down and alternate left and right sides of the puff pastry slices over the chocolate and strawberries so you have a braid. Tuck the bottom of the puff pastry under the braid.
  4. Liberally sprinkle sliced almonds over the top.
  5. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F until browned and flaky.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar.

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 chocolate bar
  • Large marshmallows

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream butter and brown sugar. Add in cocoa powder, egg and vanilla. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Add a pinch of salt, baking soda and flour. Mix until well combined.
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Leave room between each cookie.
  5. Bake for 9 minutes. Remove from oven, add a piece of chocolate, top with marshmallow.
  6. Broil until marshmallow has melted and is slightly golden on top.
