1/3 cup vanilla buttercream icing, tinted the color of your choice
Cake pop sticks
Rock candy crystals (at least 2 colors of your choice)
In a heatproof bowl set over boiling water, heat the candy melts and coconut oil.
Prepare cake pop filling by combining the crumbled vanilla cake and the tinted buttercream. Form 12 balls of cake pop filling. Insert a cake pop stick with a bit of candy melt on it into each ball and freeze for 15 minutes. Once chilled, remove a bit of each cake pop sphere to create an indentation for the geode decorations. Dip cake pops into candy melt mixture. Before the candy melts set, place the rock candy into the indentation. Allow to set completely before serving.
