- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 18 teaspoons extract of your choice
- 2 to 3 drops gel food coloring of your choice
- In a small saucepan, heat sugar, water and corn syrup. Bring to a boil and allow to reach 300 degrees (hard candy stage).
- Allow to cool slightly, then carefully stir in the extract and food coloring. Carefully pour the hot sugar into silicone or hard candy molds and allow to set completely at room temperature before removing from molds.
