Deliciousness happens when you combine chocolate and a yummy Japanese treat.
50 grams shiratamako flour (glutinous rice flour)
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
1 tablespoon sugar
50 grams water
8 chocolate balls
Unsweetened cocoa for dusting
In a bowl, combine shiratamako, sugar and water. Mix and knead until it forms a dough and the texture feels like an earlobe. Divide into 8 and mold into balls.
Fill with a chocolate ball, making sure to mold the dough back into a ball.
Put in boiling water and boil for 5 minutes.
Drain on paper towels and dust with cocoa.
