Udon in a Jar

Step up your instant noodle cup game with this flavorful, veggie-packed udon jar.

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken Bouillon Cube
  • 3 teaspoons Chili Paste
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 4 1/2 teaspoon Miso
  • Packaged Udon Noodles, 2 packages
  • 1/2 a brick of Firm Tofu, cubed
  • 2 cups Mini Bok Choy, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup fresh Snow Peas, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Carrot
  • 1/2 cup Sliced mushrooms or rehydrated dried
  • Shitake Mushrooms
  • 1 Pencil Pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 Lime, cut into wedges
  • 3 Large Jars with Lids

Steps

  1. Divide all ingredients in order above into the 3 jars creating layers.
  2. Screw on the lid and keep in the refrigerator.
  3. To eat, remove jar from the refrigerator 15 minutes before eating (I do this to warm the glass slightly so that it doesn't crack from the hot water.)
  4. Pour in boiling water almost to the top of the jar and stir gently. Let sit uncovered for 3-5 minutes then enjoy.
