The Ultimate Brunch Mimosa, 2 Ways

This is not your basic brunch cocktail! Upgrade your weekend routine with a V8 +Energy® Mimosa — the only question is, are you in a peach-mango or pomegranate-blueberry mood? Sponsored by V8

Ingredients

Orange Sugar

  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar

Orange Twist

  • 1 orange

Peach Mango Mimosa

  • 3.5 oz peach juice
  • 7 oz V8 +Energy® Peach Mango
  • 7 oz Prosecco

Pomegranate Blueberry Mimosa

  • 3.5 oz blueberry juice
  • 7 oz V8 +Energy® Pomegranate Blueberry
  • 7 oz Prosecco

Steps

Orange Sugar

  1. Mix together the granulated sugar and orange zest. When ready to serve, tip into a shallow saucer. In another shallow saucer pour a little water, then dip the rim of your serving glass into the water, quickly followed by the sugar.

Orange Twist

  1. Make the orange twists by peeling two long, thin sections of orange using a speed peeler. Cut each end and side so there’s a neat, straight line. Using a straw as a guide, wrap each orange piece around and around, making a spiral. Remove from the straw and set aside until serving.

Peach Mango Mimosa

  1. To make the peach & mango mimosa divide the peach juice between the two sugar rimmed glasses. Then divide the V8 +Energy Peach Mango, followed by the Prosecco. Serve right away with an orange twist on each drink.

Pomegranate Blueberry Mimosa

  1. To make the pomegranate blueberry mimosa, add ice to two glasses, divide the blueberry juice between each serving glass, followed by the V8 +Energy Pomegranate Blueberry, then the Prosecco. The drink will give an ombre effect. When ready to drink give it a quick stir.
