Watermelon Ice Cubes
Turn any glass of water into a party of flavors with fruity and refreshing easy-to-make ice cubes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh watermelon, cut into cubes
- 1 cup lemon lime soda
- 1/4 cup coconut milk (not cream)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup honeydew melon, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons water
Steps
- Place the watermelon and lemon lime soda in a blender and pulse until smooth.
- Fill an ice cube tray 3/4 of the way full, then place in the freezer until frozen, 2-3 hours.
- Combine the coconut milk and water. Pour on top of the watermelon ice cubes, filling the remaining space half way. Return to the freezer until frozen, about 1 hour.
- Place the honeydew melon and water in a blender and pulse until smooth.
- Fill the ice cube tray the remainder of the way full, return to the freezer and freeze until frozen, about 1-2 hours.
- Serve with soda or sparkling water for a light, fruity drink!
