- Today we're gonna switch things up a little bit. I've been tasked with a What's In Your Fridge challenge. Now I am no kinda woman to back down from any obstacles so today we're gonna figure out what's in that fridge and make a bomb meal with it. So let's get to it. Okay, not bad. I'm automatically looking at this cream cheese here. And let's see, they have wonton wrappers. Onion, can't go wrong there. Got some spinach, ooh chicken! Let's see, we can do like a creamy chicken, spinach, fried wonton. Oh, you know what? The mushrooms will go great in this too. Some chopped up mushrooms. Actually, you know what, sriracha. You always need a little bit of heat with anything. So we're going like Italian meets Asia. What do they have in the pantry? We got some garlic. Cumin, I love cumin. I like to use it any time I get a chance to. Alright, I think that's good for now. Let's go ahead and see what we have here. Alright, looks like a good start over here. First things first let's get the chicken cut up. And I wanna get a pan going. So since we're putting it in our wonton wrappers I wanna make sure it's very, very small. So let me go ahead and butterfly this first. Let's go ahead and chop this up. Pretty excited. I feel like we got a good start goin' on. And dice 'em up really small. Should almost look like minced, like ground chicken. That's the kind of consistency I'm looking for. Go ahead and put some olive oil in here. Season, it's all about seasoning. Hot pan, let's go! While that's going let me go ahead and cut my onion and garlic and the rest of my veggies. Alright, onions, they're going in. When I all a lot of fresh veggies. So some mushrooms. Alright, that should be good with the mushrooms. Once they start cooking they'll start getting a little bit smaller as well. Alright some garlic cloves. Chop those up really fine. 'Kay, garlic going in. And then I'm gonna add my spinach in. Let that wilt. And then to add a little bit of moisture I think I saw some chicken stock over there so I'm gonna grab that real quick. It's gonna deglaze my pan. This is looking pretty good. Not too shabby. I absolutely love cumin. It's nice and smoky. Just a little bit will go a long way. Alright, and then at this point is where I'm gonna add the cream cheese and that's gonna get nice and melty and creamy. Feel like we need the spice element now. So let's add some sriracha, or a lot, depends on how you like your spice level. Go ahead add the rest of my cream cheese, with the heat turned off. So my filling is done. I'm gonna go ahead and put this into a bowl. Ooh, yes! Let's go ahead and start filling up my wontons. Only use a little bit at a time. A little bit goes a long way with these. And here, wet your fingers, go along the edge. Making a little ravioli, and fold. Fold. Go ahead and crimp your edges. And there you go. You got a nice little chicken, spinach, mushroom wonton. Goes to show you a little creativity will go a long way in the kitchen. So seal 'em up. Wet your fingers, and crimp. Crimp it up. The bottom should be nice and crispy, so a little bit of oil. Alright so my oil is hot. I'm gonna go ahead and drop my wontons in. Gonna get nice and golden brown at the bottom. Look at that. That's what you're looking for. Nice crispy bottom. Go ahead and give 'em a flip. Go! Oop, nope, nope, don't. So I'll maybe hit 'em with a little bit more sriracha just to, some effects, some optics. And these don't look bad at all. So I think, I don't know, I think I did pretty well for the What's In Your Fridge challenge. It was a little bit of a, a couple of obstacles, but we get through it together. Mm! Yes girl! This is so delicious. I really hope you guys get inspired and try this challenge at home. Get creative and have fun in the kitchen. Isn't that what it's all about?
