- You snapped at me and you told me what you wanted to see for our next series of Which is More Expensive. This is a game where I get one item at three different prices and I taste them to determine which one I think is more expensive, which one I think is most delicious, and is it worth it? That should actually be what it's called. It should be called Is It Worth It. Let's go, we have some uber dark chocolate in front of us. Everything above 70 percent. We have our most expensive version, which ran me $11.00 at Whole Foods. I've never spent that kind of money on a chocolate bar, so I'm having some high expectations. Our middle chocolate bar cost me $6.00. You can ask me if I was happy to spend that amount and I will tell you no, I was not. And then our cheapest version is $4.00 from your average grocery store. And I'm gonna compare them side by side to see if I can find out which is more expensive. Our producer has laid them out in random order and I'm gonna get to tasting. Number one, get in my mouth. Oh that gets really bitter. Oh it's like when you have wasabi, went straight up my nose. What? I've never had that, oh my cheeks. Oh god, I didn't anticipate how dark the dark chocolate might be. Do I like dark chocolate? This one tastes like it has cigarette butts in it a little bit. Like a little ashy. It's not bad, but at the end of the day, there's still cigarette butts in it. Great crunch. Overwhelming bitterness. Number two. This one is not as like, as the last one. The last one like uh, you had to like really get into it. This one is trying to crack, but your teeth just sink in. Compared to the last one, it kind of tastes like nothing. I'm getting a chocolate aftertaste, but if I can be honest and not sound too pretentious, it really doesn't taste like anything. Oh, I don't like this. That's what I have to do to get the bitterness off my tongue. Number four. How many are there down here? Doesn't matter. Oh good crunch. You know, I don't think these guys know what they're doing. I don't mean to be a but there's like grindy stuff still in there. There's like little grimy bits of like shell or something. It hurts my teeth to chew down, like gravel. This one tastes, has definitely a lot more flavor than that middle one. It tastes like, if there was gonna be one organic brand or we're gonna claim we're au naturale, it's this one. 'Cause I feel like you could serve this one and charge a lot of money. Think of all the things you could buy for $11.00. On most occasions, 11 chocolate bars. On this occasion, one. Is this as good as 11 chocolate bars? That's really the question we're asking here. I think these guys, I think these guys can make the claim that it's like ooh fancy, it's organic, we had an old grandmother grind these all herself and then we made them in a hut and then we shipped them off and that's why they're so expensive. That's my guess. Okay, yes, my guess. I think this is the most expensive, this is the $11.00 one, just based on the fact that there's still cocoa bean niblets in it and I think that they probably are saying that's fancy. Middle one I think is the lowest. And then this one over here, I think has gotta be the middle price. Cigarette middle price. What is it? What is it? - [Producer] 100 percent correct. - I'm correct. What do you think? What are your favorite types of dark chocolate? Was this satisfactory? Would you spend $11.00 on a chocolate bar? I can tell you right now, I wouldn't buy any of these again. Because I don't think I like dark chocolate, at the end of the day, which is a bummer. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this episode of Which is More Expensive.
