To make the whipped ricotta, begin by adding the entire container of ricotta to a food processor with the maple syrup, ginger and lemon zest. Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth and silky.
Scoop out the ricotta onto a nice wooden cutting board. Make an oval shape with a well in the center. Dump your fruit in the center and sprinkle over the walnuts. Finish by carefully drizzling over the balsamic glaze and a handful of chopped fresh basil.
