Tortilla Pizza

Fans of thin crust pizza will love this simple pizza hack that skips the dough work with a pan-fried tortilla.

  • Cooking oil
  • 10-inch flour tortilla
  • Pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil

  1. Preheat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Preheat broiler.
  2. Once skillet barely starts smoking, reduce heat to low. Add a little bit of oil to the pan and use a paper towel to carefully spread the oil into an even layer. Add the tortilla.
  3. Spread a light layer of the pizza sauce all over the tortilla, making sure to get the edges. Add cheese and fresh basil.
  4. Place pan in the oven on broil until cheese has melted, about 3 to 5 minutes. Slice and enjoy.
