Two Filipino chefs, 2 regions, one dinner. ILO (ee-loh) explores the regions of Ilocos (norte and sur) and Iloilo, a coastal province in the Visayas.
LAKAY is Chef Miguel Reyes and SALO Series is Chef Yana Gilbuena, both born and raised in the Philippines, now have taken residence in California.
ILO is an homage to their respective hometowns and the food they grew up on.
