So we're gonna be talking about mothers, just because it's Mother's Day! Chef Shirdoo and I will be putting together a menu that is focused on our mothers' cooking (in my case, my grandma :) ) Half of this menu has a heavy Karnataka influence, a south indian state whose national language is Chef Shirdoo's mother tongue, Kannada. The other half has a strong Ilonggo influence, from the province that I grew up in: Iloilo, which is in the Visayas region of the Philippines. oh, btw, it's kamayan
